New Dawn — wake with the earth

Your alarm should not be alarming.

Mornings shouldn't begin with a shock. New Dawn eases you out of sleep the way light does — birdsong before the alarm, a sky that keeps real time, and a schedule built on circadian sleep research rather than guesswork. Wake with the natural rhythm of nature, the way God intended, and the quiet hours make room to hear what He has planned for your life. A devotional meets you at first light and again before bed, so scripture holds the two hours of the day that shape all the others.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, one habit

1

Place your tag.

Put your NFC tag somewhere you must stand up to reach: the bathroom mirror, the coffee maker, the far wall. Use any tag you already own, buy ours in a custom magnetic case, or print a paper code instead.

2

The alarm that can't be dodged.

Registered with iOS itself, the same way the built-in Clock works. Force-quitting, silent mode, and Focus don't touch it. Turning the volume down just turns it back up.

3

Tap, and the day begins.

Only your own tag or printed code ends the ring. You're rewarded with birdsong, a morning devotional, and a sky that finishes its sunrise while you read.

FEATURES

Every feature has a reason

Nothing in New Dawn is decorative. Each piece exists because sleep is as essential to a long life as diet and exercise — and because mornings deserve better than panic.

Gentle wake-up

Five minutes before your alarm, soft birdsong rises from silence. Birdsong is evolution's all-clear signal — the sound of a world where nothing is wrong. No more waking like you're in a warzone.

A sky that keeps real time

The app's backdrop brightens through your morning and settles into deep blue at dusk, keeping your screen in step with the clock in your head.

The whole Bible, built in

365 daily devotionals, morning and evening prayers, and the complete World English Bible with a browsable guide: every chapter summarized, every book set in its history.

Wake to what you love

Build alarm playlists from your own music — gospel mornings are a great way to start the day — or wake to real field recordings and gentle tones. A volume floor means it can never be silently off.

Insights that matter

Wake-time trends, snooze counts, a Consistency Score measuring weekend drift, and a Sleep Debt tracker against your personal target.

A companion, not a cop

An optional sleep quiz builds a starter schedule around your circadian rhythm: bedtime reminders, a wake time aligned with the season's sunrise, even an early-service Sunday.

THE SOUND LIBRARY

Recorded in the field, not in a synth

Every ambience in New Dawn is a real recording, gathered on our travels and carried home. They make the app larger to download, and we think that trade is worth it.

Nothing synthesized

The old loops are gone. What you hear now is a place that exists: the birds that were actually singing that morning, the rain that was actually falling.

Collected around the world

Each soundscape comes from a specific corner of the earth, recorded on location. Wake somewhere unique, then step into your own morning.

Kept at full quality

High-quality audio is worth the megabytes. A real dawn chorus does something to a waking body that a compressed loop never will.

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety."
